    .243 loads

Just bought this remington 700 on .243. Bought the stuff to load it today. Going to order some bullets from wes tonight and wondering what grain ya'll would recommend. I've got some 75 grain Sierra that I'm going to load up. But what grain do you have experience with?

What are you planning on doing with it? Deer? Varmints?

I’ve had extremely good luck with 75gr and 87gr vmax for varmints. And 95gr ballistic has been accurate for me but is not my favorite deer hunting bullet. For deer hunting I would opt for the 100gr hornady spire point, not quite as accurate as the ballistic tip, but a better hunting bullet in my opinion.

My tikka shoots sub moa with 55, 58, 70,90,95 and 100 gr bullets. Pick a bullet gr and do ladder tests with different powders and I bet you can probably make any bullet shoot sub moa. Just my opinion. I prefer the 70 gr and 90 gr though

I use 95 gr nosler partitions. Great results. Don't really remember the powder off hand.

95 gr Nosler Partition over IMR 4350, that combo has killed the vast majority of my deer in 40+ years.
